We use Sigenergy products because they bring the main components of a home energy system together in a compact, integrated format. The SigenStor combines the solar inverter, battery and EV charging capability into one unit, which simplifies installation and reduces the number of separate components on the wall. Battery cells are LFP chemistry with a 100% depth of discharge rating, meaning the full stored capacity is available for use. The system supports backup power, so it continues running during a grid outage. The mySigen app gives homeowners clear, real-time visibility of how their system is performing, with AI-assisted scheduling that can adjust charge and discharge behaviour based on energy tariffs and usage patterns.

Integrated System Design

The SigenStor combines solar inverter, battery power conversion, battery pack and energy management into a single unit. This reduces the number of separate components required and keeps the installation tidy.

LFP Battery with Full Depth of Discharge

Sigenergy batteries use LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry with 314Ah cells rated for 10,000 cycles. The system supports 100% depth of discharge, meaning the full battery capacity is available for use rather than a reduced portion.

Built-In Backup Power

The SigenStor supports whole-home backup operation. When the grid goes down, the system switches automatically and continues supplying the home from solar generation and battery storage.

EV Charging Integration

The SigenStor includes an optional DC-coupled EV charging module that charges directly from solar or battery, bypassing the need for a separate AC charger. It also supports bidirectional charging, meaning energy can be drawn back from a compatible EV to power the home.
